There have been reports that Ted Lasso season 4​ is growing as discussions regarding the return of the lead character, Jason Sudeikis, are emerging. However, the series premiered on Apple TV+ back in August 2020 and has been pretty successful so far: highly acclaimed and full of passionate fans. Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group recently gave an update for Ted Lasso. He said that the discussions about a fourth season are held and that Sudeikis feels pretty good about going back to playing his role. No word on Ted Lasso Season 4 yet, though the discussions are reported to be positive, so far. Warner Bros. has already signed contracts with three members of the initial cast: Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins).

This leaves so much promise that it keeps the major characters of the previous seasons intact. The story of Ted Lasso ended on Season 3 with some loose ends, which gives more room for further development. Ted Lasso is a positive and strong persona that is liked by a lot of viewers. Still, the time for when Season 4 would be released hasn’t been set yet, but according to early reports, if the team is willing to return to work, then shooting might begin as early as January 2025.
